No desk cover, previous owner’s inscription in front and signed by Hervey Allen under his photograph by the title page. Front cover has a bend in it through the middle but is fairly structurally sound. There is wearing around the corners and edges of both spine and Book edges. Finding in spine looks fairly sturdy and connected. See photos for condition. I combine shipping on multiple items and I accept reasonable offers. I am not a guru on vintage books, but I couldn’t find the exact silverback edition of this 1936 printing, so I’m assuming that the silver fabric covering on the addition of this particular printing is fairly rare, even more rare to have had the author sign it, so this is likely a very unique and rare book.
