For sale is a very rare treat - a figural perfume bottle in the shape of a greyhound dog resting by a vase made by Chelsea in the mid 18th century . The piece is superb and quite rare. It is a double perfume instead of just a single one with the vase making up one and the dog the other. The greyhound is hand painted with black and brown spots, the vase has a superb floral arrangement painted on one side and a single flower on the other and the base has a flower on the front and back and a gold trim all around. The concave underside has another superb floral arrangement hand painted under it. The mounts are gold. The scent bottle is made of soft paste porcelain which is always so much nicer than hard paste. The piece is not marked which is normal. It is 2.625 inches tall, 2.25 inches wide.
