Marking says Hand painted Japan. Doesn’t say Nippon. Nippon is a term used to describe Japanese porcelain, particularly from the early 20th century. This is a vintage vases from Japan. Does have a little black dots on it. Plus gold trim at bottom is a little worn off. This is a beautiful piece. Beading in white and gold. Purple marks to look like flowers on the gold top. The width with the handles is 7” wide. Without handles 6” wide. Such a beautiful and elegant piece for one’s home.
