Magníficas pinzas antiguas para espárragos hechas por el platero francés Jovax mediados del siglo XIX

Wonderful large asparagus servers made by French silversmith Jovax. Dating to the mid 1800s. Jovax operated in Paris crafted bespoke pieces for nobility. Measures 9.5 inches x 2 inches at the widest point. Weight is shown in photos at 4.54 Troy ounces. There is a coat of arms on the back of the spoon. It reads ‘Sapienter et Audacter’ which translates as Wisely and Boldly’ and is the motto of the Koch de Gooreynd family. In stunning condition; l have lightly cleaned it but prior this has been stored away for almost 100 years. Please look at my other pieces from this amazing set!
