The only reason I had any idea what this was is because of the station identifier on the top of the box so when I did some research there this was a public radio station back in 1933 and it was also licensed by Michigan individual that passed away a few years back not sure exactly what it's for looks like it's for checking different frequencies and testing how strong they are I don't know if it works I don't know the condition of it but it's a really neat and that comes with that Heath kit box not sure if that's the original box for it not even sure if the things Heath kid or what somebody else made and I'm sure somebody out there is really going to love having this in their collection either for display or to use enjoy
