This is my initial assessment on reading from the internet, please do your own research as well. These coins were not produced in modern circular presses; instead, copper rods were hand-cut into thick chunks (planchets) and then hammered between two dies. Copper Dam (also known as a Paisa in later periods). Most likely the Mughal Empire (c. 1556–1707). The thick, "dumpy" fabric and the Persian calligraphy are hallmarks of the Mughal mints at Agra, Delhi, or Lahore.
