This auction is for a charming original cartoon drawing by Les Immel. It is inscribed at the bottom "To My Fran Lee Adams With Best Good Wishes-Les Immel. Dated 6-40. Original ink with touches of watercolor. Overall nice condition, some light yellowing around the edges. No creases or tears. Has not been examined out of frame. Measures 8" x 6". In period wood frame and glass. Purchased at a local estate sale. Les Immel (1915-1989) was an editorial cartoonist for the Peoria Star Journal in Peoria Illinois until 1966.
