The PLAYBASE can be used on its own or expanded into a wireless 5.1-channel surround sound system with the addition of the Sonos SUB and two PLAY:1 rear units. I tested this unit with my other Sonos system and worked very well, there are scratches, especially on the top but the face is in great condition, and sounds great.
