Here for sale is a really unique 19th century larger sized pin cushion. Made from the bottom of a round tin pail, as evidenced when looking at the underside. It is covered with various velvets, silks, and decorative stitching. It measures 6 inches across by 3 inches tall. Really unique and unusual, very well made. The top is covered in velvets and has some sort of batting material underneath, and would have been where the pins could be stuck. The underside is covered with a sort of waxed cotton material. Great condition with honest wear / loss to the stitching as expected from age and use. Buyer pays shipping.
