If you run into any issues, plug in the power cord, plug the HDMI cable to the console and then plug in the HDMI cable to the TV. If you are buying this to try and solve the 'green blinking light of doom' issue where the light on the dock flashes green, that is most likely an issue with the console rather than the dock.
