Fantastic matching pair of 18th century pewter chargers. Naively engraved on reverse in the year 1772 telling us these were originally church communion plates. In good fair used condition for age and use. One has been painted for some reason and is now flaking, other is the bare metal. Makers mark stamped WH for William Hunter. Each 46.5 x 3cm.
