A very smart early 20th century brass lamp base in good original condition, with a later bulb holder ready to wire, this is a very easy restoration there is a hole in the stem to run the wire through the bulb holder just screws off I am bound to say This should of course be rewired by a qualified electrician before use the bulb holder with it is just a old one I would use a new one when rewiring of course
