This coin was minted in Spain during the reign of King Charles II between the years 1680 to 1701. It is a rare piece from the pirate era of the Spanish Empire and has survived for over 340 years. One side of the coin depicts a lion for the city of Leon, the other depicts a castle for the city of Kastile.
