this pneumatic speargun was bought and used by the seller in approximately 1971 -4 and used to successfully feed the family whilst holidaying in Cornwall, then put away in a wardrobe and not used since as either holidaying abroad or more lately taking up scuba diving. It has surprisingly retained its full charge and will propel the spear to the full extent of the cord (approx 7m) There used to be a D ring in the rear cap (which is removed if it is necessary to top up the air with the pump (supplied) ) but this has obviously broken off at some point, although this does not affect its function. The photos were taken in my garden after checking that it still works, and I was pleasantly surprised that it hah held its compression after so long in storage
