This is a very nice looking antique C.1800 wooden box with wallpapered exterior and interior. The box is made with blacksmith made hand wrought square nails, they may even be rose heads...The box is made of pine and has a very neat design wallpapered on the exterior. The original owner and decorator of the box made sure the placement of each piece was just right showing off the element printed on the paper. It appears there may even be another green wallpaper below the black and white paper. This is a neat old box, perfect for a small table (add a glass top) or storing your kindling wood for the fireplace. It is fresh from a local Connecticut estate. Measures approx.; 19" long x 13" deep x 9 1/2" tall .
