Worn primarily between 1996 and 1999. Chelios served as the Blackhawks' captain from 1995 until his legendary (and controversial) trade to Detroit in March 1999. He was the backbone of the Hawks' defense, winning two of his three Norris Trophies (1993, 1996) while wearing the Indian Head.
