Controller has been cleaned and tested. The R1 button was nonresponse - controller was disassembled, contacts and conductive pad cleaned, and deoxit applied to the contacts to promote future conductivity. The thumbsticks caps were damaged and could not be repaired - I chose to installed PS3-style mushroom caps
