It will work with any video camcorder that uses 8mm Hi8 Super 8 VHS etc that have AV (audio video cables) which is pretty much all of them. The major camcorder manufacturers are Sony Panasonic Canon JVC Audiovox Hitachi Kodak RCA Ricoh Samsung and Toshiba but again it will work with others.
