A short biography of Giovanni Bellini looking at his life and work as well as his interactions with other artists, politicians and dignitaries. Accompanied by eight colour plates of some of his most recognised work which have been reporduced to a high standard to provide as accurate a picture of the work as possible. Dust jacket is in overall good condition with minor bumps and nicks to edges and three tears to top near spine as per photos. Brown illustrated boards with black titles are in very good condition with light bumps to corners. Previous owner's name in pencil to first cover page. Internal pages are rought cut but clean and unmarked.
