The S-B-H knobs allow you to blend between standard and harmonic tremolo modes. In standard mode, all frequencies are affected simultaneously. The low-pass and high-pass versions of the guitar signal are modulated in opposite directions, i.e. 180 degrees out of phase (high and low frequencies rise and fall in opposite directions).
