This listing is for a very interesting handmade vintage braille alphabet and number board. It was handmade by a man named G. Gilbert Scott in Los Angeles. Dated 1952. Features incised letters/numbers and raised metal pieces for the braille. At the bottom it says it was created “especially for blind and deaf.” Also signed on the back by the man who made it. It is in great condition for its age and has a nice patina. Has a folk art vibe to it. It measures approximately 12 inches 9 inches.
