234xxx so 1929/30 New Wonder II alto. It has been relacquered and the engraving is quite faint. However! This is such a free blowing saxophone. All pads are sealing well and have plenty of life in them. The Vernier tuner also seems to work. It certainly turns and feels nice and tight. If you want a fabulous sounding vintage horn for student horn money, look no further! The action is nice and tight, all the screw heads are good and all lock screws are fitted. As you can see, the side Eb is clamped down for safety. I could never hear a difference, nor felt the need to trill to Eb with my middle finger. If it's a deal breaker I'll make sure it is set up to open and seal as it should.
