Bought in 2022 to store photos, which I upload from my phone around 6 times a year. Has remained in a box the rest of the time. From a smoke and pet free, clean house. Formatted. Working perfectly. I replace my hard-drives every three years to reduce the chance of losing photos. There is nothing wrong with this HD, it was just time to swap. Perfect condition other than writing on the front in sharpie pen, which says “Sept 2022, replace 2025”. Will be posted in the packing my new HDs arrived in, so nice and secure.
