It also fitted my 2003 R50 Cooper - again OE head unit. The R53 Head unit was a Boost CD Radio Head Unit part number 6512 6941367-01. With my R50 one being aRADIO CD HEAD UNIT 6917521. See last two images for example Mini Gen 1 Head units this Parrott system is plug and play with.
