This 7" x 5" original work is athree-layer relief sculpture capturing the elegant, forward motion of a black cat. The process begins with a hand-cut silhouette fromblack Bazzill textured paper, which I then render usingPrismacolor wax-based pencils to define the sheen and velvet-like patterns of the fur.
