The sax has its original lacquer, with over 95% still intact. It was just serviced by my repairman, so the pads are sealing well and the sax is playing evenly from top to bottom. The pads are in good shape overall and still have a lot of life left, so the next owner should get a long stretch of maintenance free playing.
