Production began in 1944, and it continued to be exported to Eastern Bloc countries after World War II. This kit models the first mass-produced version of the T-34/85. This version replaced the turret with a larger one equipped with an 85mm gun to counter powerful new German tanks such as the Panther and Tiger.
