Antique rare large cast iron cross,Jesus crucifix,19th century,Berlin Iron. Cast iron byzantine style cross on a double stepped pedestal with gilded corpus and two wreaths on blackened background. Made by The Royal Prussian Iron Foundry in Berlin (Gleiwitz) around 1840 by an earlier design by Pierre Devaranne.
