The reason for that is nearly 10 years ago I asked the manufacturer what they were made of and they weren’t really 100% sure but we settled on vinyl. Vinyl is a long lasting, durable product that maintains its vibrant color, but I feel the material that comprises these coasters reacts more like thick rubber.
