Offered is a great example of an antique leather clad document box with really nice brass nail head tacks. The leather handle is secure and surrounded by a nice design. The old hardware is intact. Alas, no key. The box is wallpaper lined and appears to be original. It measures 15" x 11" x 7" tall. The condition is very good given its age and use with wear to the leather. The leather hinges are in good condition. The leather "skirt" along the 3 sides of the cover is intact as well which is unusual with a box this old. Please look carefully at the photos.
