I haven't used this in years. So I'm sure if it can be updated. It needs to be updated. I've kept it in my car for years in the bag that's in the pictures. I powered it on in one of the pictures to show that it does work. It's a rigid bag that came with some tools I bought that had a divider in the middle that works perfect for putting the GPS itself on one side and then everything else on the other side for storage.
