2021 marked the 75th Anniversary of the Blue Angels Naval Flight Demonstration Squadron. The year also saw the squadron upgrade to the F/A-18E (single-seat) and F/A-18F (two-seat) Super Hornet, replacing the legacy F/A-18 Hornet fighter jets that the flight demonstration team has flown for 34 years.
