Patriotic red, white and blue pinback button with images of a fireman and the Spirit of '76 drummers and fifer. Attached is a ribbon indicating that this was worn at the 54th Annual Lebanon County firemen's Convention June 18th and 19th, 1976, hosted by the Volunteer Fire Company Number One of Schaefferstown PA. The pinback measures about 2 1/8" in diameter and the pinback and ribbon together measure about 7.5" in length. A nice, unusual item combining the celebration of the American Bicentennial in 1976 with Pennsylvania's proud tradition of volunteer firemen. Condition: nice condition, with very minor wear as seen in photos, I would not hesitate to give this as a gift.
