This original 1984 Spanish 100 Pesetas coin was issued during the reign of King Juan Carlos I and forms part of Spain’s modern circulation coinage. Struck in aluminium bronze, it features the King’s portrait on the obverse and the Spanish coat of arms with the Pillars of Hercules on the reverse.
