This listing is for a vintage or antique Leedy Elite brass snare drum. Gold finish, and engraved. No extra holes, radio king calf head on top in great shape, with plastic head on bottom. Strainer works, though these are pretty stiff strainers and could use an oiling, if that works. Anyways, it is intact and complete. The thumbscrew on strainer works, and is also a bit stiff. Overall the snare is in nice shape, with some oxidation in parts, though I would say it is appropriate wear for a 100 year old instrument. Please inspect pics. Nice old drum, overall, and suitable for a collector, maybe a player.
