The base rim is embossed "CZENTNER BORWICKS LONDON", and the ball itself is embossed "FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR REUSE OF THIS BOTTLE" – marking it as a pre-1964 U.S. liquor bottle (this text was required on American spirits bottles between 1935 and 1964).
