For sale is a plate made by Nymphenburg in the early 19th century. Really a top notch plate from Nymphenburg! Since the color is not glazed/glossy it tends to attract stains, etc.

For sale is a great reticulated floral plate made by KPM in the late 18th century . KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. The plate is hand painted with a nice floral arrangement in the center that is very typical for them as well as three smaller single flowers along the edge. The rim has a nicely reticulated design highlighted with a turquoise trim with raised dots along the edge that are gilded and a bit more gilding to the other side of the rim towards the well. The plate is in great condition with just two small paint flakes to the green in the center that was colored in to hide them perfectly. Something with the green color was an issue for all makers during this time. It often flake.
