ANTIQUE HALF PLATE CAMERA. Late 19th Century. 10 inches (250mm) by 10 inches (260mm) by 4 inches (100mm) folded up. 3 inches (330mm) long, by 9 3/4 inches (250mm) tall, by 10 inches (260mm) wide when open. 19 inches (490mm) long fully extended. The woodwork & brass fittings in good condition. Lens iris works as it should. Threaded fitting on base for a tripod (see photos). The leather on the bellows is very good, supple, and not dried out. (see photo 20). The bellows need to be slid in and out by hand as the focusing knob does not engage. The lens plate is a later replacement. This is a good example, and it would make a great addition to any collection. Please see the photos for condition and type. weight approx 2.1 kilos. Shipping and packaging is at cost, with no profit.
