This 12-hole (3 octaves) Hohner chromatic harmonica is "pre-war," i.e., made before WWII (see star of David on bottom cover). When I bought it, the comb was cracked but it was in tune and all but one of the valves were intact. I fixed that one. I took the harp apart and repaired the comb so now it's airtight (well, as airtight as you can get a 270). The button on the end of the slide is not original but works better than the original. The wooden box is original. Key of C. So what's with "pre-war" harps? Collectors tell me that Hohners were better made before WWII. In my opinion, most 270s play about the same as long as they're in tune and the comb is not cracked. Forgot to mention - the mouthpiece of this harp has been disassembled, cleaned and lubricated.
