This 1975 Fender Stratocaster was made after Fender was acquired by CBS. The large head has a truss rod adjustable bullet from the head side. Many Fenders from the 1970s used ash wood for the body, but the one we have just received is made of alder.

This guitar has a chiming, airy quality and a clear percussive cut. Twangy and snappy when it's required or bell-like and warm at the flip of a switch, all of the traditional Strat bases are covered with this model, including plenty of quack in the "in between" settings on the original three-way switch.

This is a very cool Strat for the player in need of a great sounding axe ! Its Olympic white finished body appears to be from an '82 Am. Std. Strat & has a cool patina. Its Maple Neck is a 3-bolt type from 1975 w/a brass nut added. Its original white pickgard is loaded w/a set of killer sounding Custom Shop "1969" Strat pickups & new pots. Its original tremolo feels smooth. This has the vibe of Robin Trower or Jimi on a budget. She's excellent overall & comes in a decent hard case.
