We are happy to be able to offer for your consideration this vintage Talavera ginger jar or tibor, with a simple and bold design of the calalilly , and adding to the beauty are squiggle handles that are reminiscent of old-fashioned hard candies. The calalilly design is repeated on either side of the handles. I just love the simplicity. The piece is from Mexico and an excellent vintage condition. The ginger jar form has been used for centuries in the Old World, and in old times would have been used to store grains and other foods.
