The TW stands for Tack Welding (different to the G5-01VC which stands for Variable Colour) Like the G5-01VC, this helmet is designed for heavy welders and has a range of new features not previously seen, including the ability to direct airflow to different areas of the helmet, slimmer design easier for confined spaces, additional comfort features in the harness and an optional light for the front of the helmet. The G5-01TW comes with an extra 'tack welding mode' which allows the eyes to adjust while tacking, with an intermediate shade instead of returning to shade 3 instantly after a weld.
