Today we have one of the rarest LEGO sets of all time. Each year from 2010 until 2018, LEGO allowed attendees of San Diego Comic Con to enter a lottery for the chance to purchase a unique set for the show. There ranged between 1,000 and 2,000 sets created for these expositions. LEGO employees that worked the shows were also given a copy of these sets, except instead of them being individually numbered, the number was replaced with the word SAMPLE. Although exact quantities of these SAMPLE sets are unknown outside of LEGO, estimates put them in the 10 - 20 range. The set available to you today is The Star Wars Rebels Ghost Starship micro build, SAMPLE edition. This is sealed in cellophane to ensure integrity of the seals.
