The pattern consists of pink roses with lighter pink tinting and green leaves and vines. There are also pansy flowers in yellow & blue with purple faces surrounded by more green leaves. The pattern is identified as Schleiger #534.

The overall quality of the design is quite professional. The grapes, leaves and vines are outlined in gold to give depth to the painting. There is a wavy purple line next to the gold on the rim. The back of the plate is the high white of the porcelain.

Theodore left to establish his own firm in 1892 and was joined by his son, William, in 1903. In 1919, Theodore died and his firm passed on to his son. It remained in the Haviland family until 1972.

These two porcelain goblets were made in France, probably in Limoges, and decorated by Toupet. The decorations are transfer prints of a fox on one, and a pair of partridges on the other, with gold line trims.
