This map shows Europe before, during and after the time of Charlemagne (568 - 843 AD) including conquests and tributary peoples. Made in USA, published by Times-Mirror between 1960 - 1984. It was part of a group collected and used by a History teacher at Mt Hood Community College in Portland, Oregon. Lithographed on 16 paper sections and joined by a linen backing for a size of 34.5” x 44”.The colors are still vibrant and the text is clear. The condition is very good. These were used in college classrooms for many years, with no rips or tears, and just minor fraying on some sides.
